In our clinic, we accept Aetna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and many other insurances. We are also Veteran Care Community Providers. However, insurance plans differ even within each carrier, and many have restrictions or deductibles that must be met before coverage begins. Therefore, we require a verification in order to confirm the details of your specific policy. 

To have your insurance verified, please send the following info to 914-786-1413 by TEXT Message: 

  1. Front of your insurance card 

  2. Back of your insurance card 

  3. Date of Birth

FAQ About Insurance

*What if my insurance does not cover Acupuncture?

If your policy covers our treatments, we will bill your insurance provider for our services. If our services are not covered under your plan, then you will be informed of alternate payment options for future treatments during your consultation. Payments can be securely and quickly processed by us with most credit cards for your convenience, by phone, online or in person via electronic invoice, ACH payments, E-checks, and Zelle.

Cash patients can still enjoy significant savings by purchasing our Acupuncture Health Commitment Packages. Our packages include reduced rates for pre-paying for your treatments. (Note: Packages have limitations and will also expire after a specific period of time)

*What is a deductible?

An insurance deductible is the amount paid out of pocket by the patient before an insurance company will pay for any billed services. The amount of deductible depends on the plan.

*Am I able to see an acupuncturist before I hear back about insurance verification?

Absolutely, and  you will be charged the amount of a first visit. In the event that you are covered, any amount paid will go towards co-pays, co-insurance and/or deductibles.
